Close look at Jeremy Lin: Real Deal or Media Hype?

Just when you thought the Tim Tebow (disclaimer I coached at his high school, Nease) craze was dying down enter Jeremy Lin. 6'3" with average athleticism at best, Lin's life was forever changed when Carmelo Anthony walked over to D'antoni and said put this kid in the game. As fate would have it, Lin went on to have the greatest 5 game start in NBA history, averaging 26.8 ppg, 8 assists, 4.4 rebs, and 2 steals. Linsanity is in full swing as Tebowesque jersey sales, along with millions of new fans marvel at this made for T.V. story. What is even more important is that Lin is proof that if you study your craft and have a strong belief system, you too can reach the highest levels. J. Lin admits that he is just taking it all in and thanking God along the way. Take a look at J. Lin work ethic and you will realize that the world is just catching up to what Lin already knew. You get out what you put in.

Playing with Basketball SWAG (Confidence)

Like clock work I get emails from basketball players all across the world asking me what they have to do to become better scorers. Everyone wants their name in lights and in the paper but my question is what are you doing when no one is watching? Scoring comes from confidence but confidence comes from repetition. The best way to become good at anything is to do it over and over again. For the basketball player that means putting in work in the gym. In this video I explain how the Work Ethic = Confidence formula works.

Breaking down Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

Everyone knows the game of basketball has been watered down with the emphasis on highlights and athleticism. It may be great for ticket sales but it tends to hurt the average kid that just wants to learn how to become a better basketball. This is why it is refreshing to see Michael Kidd-Gilchrist use his high basketball IQ to become one of the best players on a loaded Kentucky team. There is a difference between being a basketball player and playing the game of basketball. In this video I show you why Kidd-Gilchrist is the former and will be a can't miss draft pick this summer.

The Extra Mile

One of the things that I take pride in is going the Extra Mile. This was my true secret to success and one of the reasons (after God) that I was able to break records in high school and college. It is the work you put in when no one is watching that really takes you to the next level. Take a look.

NBA Work out

By now you know that I am a fan of hard work. Talent comes from God but skills come from putting in the work. Watch the off-season work out of a NBA all-star.
